Oh Where Oh Where.....

I get asked a lot why I buy this or that for my Vintage Antique Boutique! The Answer is in my past!

Yes! Our pasts evoke a different time! Farmers on main street in the 80's fighting for their existence! Gocho pants & red gingham & plaid! In my house Corning ware dishes, they were lite weight! Avocado green gold & burnt red were colors in the kitchen we had carpet covering every floor! Wood was out! The furniture no longer was just wood- it was fast heavy blends of plastic-with notes of what used to be! I remember we were behind the country in home decor- we still had a lot of depression glass in the kitchen! Oil lamps were very part of farm life & we used them!

When I get a call to go look at things I might want to buy, I think of my my past in Goshen County! The County Fair was the biggest ticket in town! We all waited patiently for a hamburger & fries from the Lions Club Stand!

We entered our farm goods, animals & yes 4-H was cool! When you visit Mindy's Vintage Goods I want to take you too on a trip back in time!

To that smell in the kitchen off warm cookies from Grandma's table after school on her Blue Willow plate & milk out of her depression glass that made getting off the bus the best!

Time around the table with your Aunts while she served you the best cassarole in a Pyrex Cassarole that had a lid! So it could go directly to the refrigerator saving her time!
